What It’s About
Our regular service aims to create visually rich and exciting gardens alongside necessary upkeep. It’s about ideas, conversation and tweaking over time rather than just maintaining the status quo. We feel that naturalistic gardens are ever-changing and dynamic rather than static and that design and maintenance aren’t mutually exclusive entities. This allows room for nuance, spontaneity and a real connection to the site conditions and its sense of place.
Who It’s For
The service is aimed at clients who have some additional budget (however small) surplus to maintenance costs so we can bring ideas and sustainable plant communities to life. The process is flexible to suit your needs and timescale, it can also spread the costs of creating a great space. We can ‘design’ on the ground marking out shapes and sketching ideas on site, or where needed create more detailed design work from home. Ideas and projects can be phased, incrementally nudged on during our regular slot or indeed we can book in to implement larger plantings or other works.
Many of our existing clients have really enjoyed the fun and relaxed process of creating a garden in this way. Their gardens become an unfolding story that speaks for them.

Prices
£35 each per hour
Typically we work with clients year-round and mainly full days unless close.
Some clients chose to have other gardeners for more routine tasks or undertake elements themselves. This leaves us to focus on creating and moving things forward using our skill sets. We are though happy to undertake the tasks you would like.
We also can book in and often bring fantastic and experienced helpers at a lower hourly rate to fulfill projects outside of our regular schedule for existing clients.
We keep design fees at this hourly rate, get great deals on plants and sometimes bring divisions, cuttings and seedlings of prezzie plants for our regulars too!
